Don’t condemn yourself!
You possibly have not healed yet and need to do the work to recover and strengthen your armour against the magnetic baits of narcissists or toxic persons.
What do you do if you realize that you are going the 2nd time around the mountain of narcissistic abuse? Follow these 7 Steps:
- Acknowledge it and realize that you are in an unhealthy/toxic relationship AGAIN. Don’t despair, there is hope.
- Find a counsellor/life coach to help you with the healing process.
- Educate yourself with the many online programs on how to escape a Narcissistic Matrix.
- Arrange with trustworthy friends to support you with the upcoming exit of this 2nd abusive and toxic relationship.
- On exit, follow the rule of “No contact “with the Narcissist/ toxic person on social media, email, calls or in any way. Should the Narcissist make any contact or should contact be necessary like sharing children or divorce procedures, let your trusted friends be the go-in between you, and the narcissist, and also let them handle the replies. The obvious reason is to protect you from love bombing which will bait you back into the toxic relationship AGAIN or from more potential abuse. In severe cases and where money is not an issue, appoint legal representation to act on your behalf.
- Build a new, positive world to fill the voids with healthy options.
- If possible, avoid new romantic relationships at least for a year to heal and to become and discover yourself AGAIN.
